Died, December 19th of peritonetis, Susan B Brasher, wife of James S Brasher,
of this county. She had been a suffer for many years. She was born about the
year 1860, and was the youngest child of Allen and Rachel Brasher. She was
married to J S Brasher on the 5th day of January, 1879. She was the mother of
six children, five of whom survive her; one having died some six year ago. She
was a devoted Christian. This I say from her pious walk, Godly conversation,
and more especially her dying declaration, which the writer was permitted to
hear. Calling her children to her she bade them, with her husband bood-bye,
saying: "I am going to rest!" She leaves a husband and childrin and many
relatives to mourn her loss. But cheer up dear friends, your loss is her gain,
and may each of you be able to meet the summons as she did is the wish of the
